INSULT, hailing from Sweden, was born in 2004, as a manifestation of sinister and hateful spirit of Old-School Death Metal in its (im)purest form! Erik at that time handled both Guitar and Vocals. Kalle joined on drums, and a couple of months later, Johan T. joined on bass guitar. In the beginning of the following year a promo called"Decree" was recorded and released unto masses.
A new main singer, namely Johan S, was recruited in June and an unofficial demo called"Array" was recorded to test the new line-up! The 2006 year brought acouple of gigs with such bands as Dismember and Degrade. Soon new hymns were composed, and in November INSULT entered a studio to record a new promo called "Axiom". In February 2007 it was mixed and mastered. It showed further progress and uncompromising old-school madness and blasphemy, while being perfectly executed both technically and song writing-wise alike. No compromises though, but Wicked Death Metal filth! The promo was spread among a limited number of associates and sent to a couple of labels and zines, but wasn't released officially. Some gigs were also played.
In 2008 Johan T. left the band and Henke joined INSULT to handle bass guitar for the upcoming live shows. A single gig was played that year. Soon Erik began to write new material, which shall be even more sinister and dark, yet, undoubtedly, as brutal and devastating as ever! And, in preparation for the forthcoming full-length attack, a pact was signed with DAEMON WORSHIP PRODUCTIONS to release both of the band's official demos -"Decree" and "Axiom" - on a single CD, to finally make them available to wider audience. Pounding raw hatred combined with haunting melodies, INSULT proudly marches forth, crushing everything to dust! 11 hymns of (im)pure blasphemy - "Abysmal Incantations" - are soon to be unleashed!
