Mark Knight is best known for his guitar work and as the major song writing force behind Bang Tango, a band that in the late-80's/early 90's sold over one million records, had 2 Top Ten music videos on MTV, and several world tours. After Bang Tango disbanded in the late 90's, Mark formed 'Worry Beads', where he worked with Bernard Fowler (back-up singer with the Rolling Stones for more than a decade) developing his vocal skills. During a hiatus from Worry Beads, Mark decided to put together a new 'rootsy rock-n-roll' band, which has come to be known as Gravy. Mark has shared the stage with many great musicians such as Matt Abts (famed groove drummer of the band Gov't Mule), and Marc Ford (formerly of the Black Crowes). Mark has also worked with the late Nicky Hopkins, one of the most in-demand session players in history who contributed to studio work with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Jeff Beck, the Kinks, and many others. In addition, Mark's also put in time with producers Howard Benson (Hoobastank, My Chemical Romance, Motorhead), and John Janson (Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton). He is Currently playing in the side project Walnut Acres with Matt abts,Berry Oakley jr. and paul III
