EXISTENZ

1982-1986 ..We started to play in a basement outside of Helsingborg. The setting was then Rolle – bass, Jocke – guitar, and Stefan – drums. 1983 we recorded our 7-song EP. At the same time Jyrki Siikaluoma came in on vocals. The EP was pressed in 500 copies and was sold out in a couple of weeks. Short after that Rolle was replaced on bass by David Butolen, that setting was then permanent. 1984 we recorded 12” Maxi-Single “Let’s Get Drunk”. Autumn -84 we also went over to London and with help from Charlie Harper of UK Subs we did 3 gigs on different London clubs among them with Urban Dogs, Vibrators,UK Subs, One Way System etc. We also played quite a few gigs in Sweden but since you rarely got travel contibution it was mostly around in Skåne. 1985 we then recorded our next demo which was intended to be our next record but never was released. Summer -85 we again went to England and made a few gigs and wound up with a 100 Club gig in London. Towards the winter 85-86 we played more less, our jobs took more and more time and gradually Existenz stoped to exist.
