Desmond "2real" Peals, Aaron "AR" Rivers, and Brandon "Beezy" Rodgers make up the Louisville, Kentucky based group known as Cold Weather. The group originally formed, under the name, The Untouchables, in 2001, by Desmond and four other members along with the help of Dynasty Records label owner, Aaron Rivers. After years of frustrating setbacks and disappearing members, Cold Weather became just Desmond Peals; until late July 2006, When long time friend and business partner Aaron Rivers was brought into the group. In September 2006, Aaron Brought in a mutual friend, Brandon Rodgers, which finally became the final piece to what will soon be a masterpiece. Together, the three bring a certain swagger back to hip hop which makes you forget about the current state of music which is encompassed by "dope rap" and "snap music."2007 was a major stepping stone for the boys of Cold Weather releasing their debut single "So Cold" as well as their debut ep entitled "CW3", which both received much positive feedback from both fans and other artist. Initially the group planned on following up the success of their first single with the immediate release of another along with their mixtape "the Sign of the Times" but due to a lack of connections the group was unable to accomplish what they wanted at the magnitude they felt necessary. After about 4 months of being musically inactive the group went back into the lab and began creating new music with a sound that they felt was something that couldn't be held back. A short time later another artist out of Kentucky by the name of Amore the King, got in touch with group and felt that they had star quality within their music but lacked a good camp and extended the invitation to join Upper Level Entertainment. Now with the backing of their new home, Cold Weather is looking to make 2008 their breakout year with the summer release of their upcoming mixape "The Co-sign" in mind. A mixtape that will not only feature the entire Upper Level family but will also include some of kentucky's major artist from the rock, r&b and rap world. So get comfortable with the name Cold Weather because it's a name that you're going to be hearing quite a bit from. The most important thing to Cold Weather are the fans and the support of other artist. So don't be afraid to drop them a line with any type of support or questions. Support Local and National music, and get ready for the Movement.Shout Outs to:Upper Level Ent.
