About Me

Teo Miller's productions burst onto the airwaves in 1993 with Daisy Chainsaw's powerful hit single "Love Your Money". Since then Teo has honed his inimitable style by working with many top name producers including Arthur Baker, Steve Osbourne, Gus Dudgeon, Mike Hedges and Phil Vinall. He has also worked with an eclectic range of artists including Robert Plant, Placebo, Blur, Martina Topley-Bird, Happy Mondays, The Pretenders, The Fall, James, The Auteurs and the seminal Black Box Recorder. The releases he has engineered and mixed include Placebo's "Nancy Boy", "Pure Morning", "Every Me, Every You" & "20th Century Boy", Blur's "There's No Other Way", Robert Plant & Strange Sensation's "Let The Four Winds Blow & Black Box Recorder's "England Made Me" (album) amongst many others. In addition to being regularly requested as a mixer by high profile producers, Teo is an established producer in his own right. His favoured approach combines the best of old world analogue recording techniques with up to the minute hi-tec methods. Utilising the latest digital tools (Pro Tools/Logic/Digital Performer) in conjunction with an eclectic personal collection of vintage gems. From his esoteric Pye compressors to a battered original 1960's Maestro Fuzz Tone. His driving passion is in capturing performance. Something that he believes is only possible by making the artist feel comfortable and creative, but which is often overlooked during the recording process.
