Rhona Rolls born in Cape Town brought up in Kwazulu Natal left home to pursue her musical careerin the golden city of johannesburg 90s(Gauteng) South Africa.After meeting a afro reggae group called Pongolo she got hooked on the off beats Osibisa,Fela Kuti,Black Uhuru influenced music.Rhona Rolls joined as a backing singer and dancer not long she was leading a few tracks as Pongolo went into record their album called "Jah do that"and writing lyrics for track called "Take it easy" which received lots of airplay on major radio stations under "Principal Records",It was not easy as the only female in the band at that time.After 2yrs band split up and she went into dance music scene projects and worked with producer Mdu Masilela did sessions on a house music album called "LA Beat"which sold more than 50,ooo units.She also did the club scene performing with live bands doing international covers to national hits also co-writing song with Sox called "give peace a chance".Rhona Rolls was spotted by renowned producer Joe Nina and "Blacklist" dance single was released named "Touch me" together Joe Nina &Rhona composed full up coming album.She then was nominated for best dance single at national South African music awards"SAMA 2001".Rhona also performed live at world Summit 2002 where after she went and recorded full dance album "Ghetto Queen" under "Gallo Records".

Internationally;Opening act for Oliver Mtukudzi,Chonisiwa Maraire Mbira-(Zimbabwe).Judith Sephuma(SA)Tony Allen(UK) at the "Coronet Theatre" London under production of Wala Danga, "Africa House".Session work with Elliot Ngubane OF ipintombi Fame for "EMI international" project "Torch Song" "London (UK) produced by Sir "Trevor Horn."Rhona also performed at workshops during "Black History month",World Mental health day workshops teaching South African culture also along side "Kora instrumentalist Seiko" at "Kenilworth Theatre" London.Rhona made a documentry of african music workshops with London Diaspora,sessions with "Patti Boulaye"friend to Micheal Jackson" gospel music singer and translating lyrics and creating melodies into South African languages,workshops at Library in Peckham, London with Asafo "drum and dance projects" also live at British Museum after Hugh Masekela(Wala Danga). Spain:Rhona has performed alongside SPanish DANCE House music DJs, DjFernando,DJ Jesüs "Canary Islands",DJ Andy Voz(Germany)because of her dance music experiences.Rhona Rolls has worked at five star hotels on the "Canary Islands"in Tribute Shows that she has produced such as:THE DIVAS SHOW;TINA TURNER SHOW;SOUL SISTERS;MOTOWN SISTERS SHOW using the funds to record her own compositions working with brilliant cuban musician "Joel Santos" track 2 "Africa Yetu"featuring the vocals of "Nompumelelo Sizane", the rest was done in South africa with Lydio Mathola of Pongolo and so the journey continues into Berlin (Germany)studios come record companies, hoppin and knocking with "Morris Mungoy" of Makweru fame, also looking for world music promoters and agents.
