Barely in her twenties, Kelly has written, produced and played all the instruments herself on her debut album and is creating very big waves in the Music industry.
Her track ‘Your Words’ has gone No1 on Channel 4’s top 100 Best unsigned Artists chart and her first single entitled ‘Real Love’, which is being promoted by her management, is already featuring on major compilation albums and getting rave reviews in the music media.
After attracting the attention of several of the worlds biggest labels, Kelly was recently invited to perform an exclusive showcase for SonyBMG at their headquarters, at the direct request of Ged Doherty (The Chairman) and the Head of A&R.
She has also been booked to do a 30 date tour of the US, as well as being invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the forthcoming Beijing Olympics in China, where she has already toured extensively.
Kelly was picked by Destiny’s Child manager (Matthew Knowles) and the SonyBMG promotions team out of tens of thousands of UK artists, to become part of the last 'Chancer’s' series on Channel 4. Sadly, Kelly could not join the Chancer’s series for personal reasons, and the producers were forced to find a replacement for her in the show.
As a twist of fate that same week Kelly was contacted by Matt Meyers, MD of the Audiofreaks, owners of the World famous recording studio complex at London Bridge The Vineyard, (formerly ‘The Hit Factory') and was offered a management contract. This is soon to become a co-management agreement with Audiofreaks and Big management in the US.
As well as attaining best song and best new artist listings in numerous Trade Music Magazines, Kelly is attracting the attention of many of the Worlds A-list producers, artists and writers eager to work with her on new material.
In recent weeks, Kelly has been approached to work with producers as diverse as Hannon Lane and the Timbaland camp in the US, Big Reese (Pink, TLC, outcast), to Corrado Rustiko (Andrea Bocelli, Pavarotti etc), Stuart Epps (Elton John, Robbie Williams, Chris Rea, George Michael, Barry White) and Steve Brown (The Cult, George Michael, Manic Street Preachers etc) and artists like Ross Copperman on RCA (see front page of Music Week 21-04-07), Kelly Marie (The Shapeshifters), Katy Shotter (SonyBMG), Steve Edwards (World Hold On) Digital Dog (Sony/ATV), Soulshaker (Universal/AATW), Soulseekerz (Positiva/EMI) not to mention countless others.
Kelly now looks certain to become a globally successful recording artist, writer & producer, which has been her lifelong ambition and destiny.
