I am into quirky things, and currently am pondering Sting's Madrigals... I'm not kidding, they exist. The entire CD sounds like a round of mini-"Stings" with one husky voiced leader... I'm not sure whether the aftermath begs for a mud-pack, laughter or an open mind... Check it out and see.
Hmmm.... Favorite Flicks? Well, I'm into the older version of Pride and Prejudice with Collin Firth, though I found the new version of the book to be a Cliff Notes nightmare created specifically for a generation with no patience or appreciation of detail- I am sorry to say... I also love the Labyrinth, Top Gun, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Edward Scissorhands.
The apprentice's next top model idol.
BOOKS? What are these books which you speak of, Mo Jo?... Just kidding.... I suggest: Charles de Lint's "Dreams Underfoot," anything by Jane Austin, "The BFG", "W;T" and finally, visiting your local library for a random, delicious selection, because books are fabulous!
Ghandi. He knew how to wage the right kind of war... I wish he could speak to the "Big-Leafy-Man ruling America" right now....
