Fleshripper

“Fleshripper” was founded in 1998, by Tobias and Christian. The name “Fleshripper“comes from the song from “Mortician“. Hence, it was also celebrated from the outset Death-Grind-Metal and no polka. In 2001 FR resolved to warm up a demo. These became 10 songs in the “Panzerklang Studio” and then the demo tape became from “OTR Prod.“publishes. The demo tape / CDR was taken with pleasure and got good criticism. After a short time FR also decided to play live, and then Fleshripper played their first gig in a shelter near Laufdorf. The Line-Up still existed of Christian at the drums and Vocals and Tobias at the guitar and Backvocals. In the beginning of 2002 Tomas came as a drummer, Christian took the bass to the hand from himself. Straight away they started to rehears and had short time later the first official live gig in Wolzhausen, together with “Silent Soul”, “Soul Demise” and “Death Reality”. In winter 2002 the “Panzerklang Studio” was boarded again to record the 2-nd demo “Disgusting, Living Flesh“. Which was published by “Mordsucht Records“, as a tape and CDR. The demo became really well in the underground and was sold or traded till now 400 - 500 times, Worldwide. Some good contacts with other bands, FR decided in the end of 2002 to make a Split-EP with “Depression“. Straight away 2 songs were also taken up for it. The 7“EP came after various problems on the part of the label 2005 on the market, and was limited on 600 copies (500 black and 100 orange vinyls). The 7“EP published by “Morbid Reality Records“(USA). After the recording for the EP Tomas left FR, and they had to searched for a new drummer. However, the search turned out for Useless, and Christian had to serve again the drums. Then in summer 2003 Seigor came as a Bass-player which was a long-standing friend and supporter of Fleshripper. During the following years they played some live gigs, and built up other contacts. Over the years they got a couple of new songs, so in 2005 FR take up a rehearsal tape, a foretaste on the next demo. The tape was published under the banner “Zombie Tapes“and contains a Rehearsal of 2005 and 2003, with new and also old songs. In March 2005 FR set over to Majorca, and played a gig with “Depression“, “Voice Of Hate“ and the Majorcans Deather “Strangled“. Shortly after, FR got the offer from “Suffer Prod.” to publish a Split CD, with the German Death-Grinder “Obliteration“. FR accepted, and they went in February till March 2006 again in the “Panzerklang Studio” to record the songs for the Split publication. In autumn 2006 the CD was published in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The CD got good criticism and after few months the CD was sold out. After OK of the bands Suffer Productions did not consider long and put on 500 copies again. In future, “Fleshripper“ will be represented with some songs on the Amateur-Splatter-Film-Series of “Der Henker 3“. Also a live DVD and an own album are in work.
