About Me


A história do projeto inicial da banda gaúcha Father’s Face começou em janeiro de 2001. Ainda na faculdade de Música da Universidade Federal Do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) a partir de uma aula em que foi relatado o conto "Frankenstein” ou “Modern Prometheu" de Mary W. Shelley, o guitarrista e vocalista Alessandro Marques teve a idéia de compor um trabalho conceitual em torno da história.
Já em 2008, após longa procura por parte dos músicos por um trabalho sério, forma-se a banda Father’s Face, com o line-up composto por Lucas Guimaraes (Vocal), Alessandro Marques (Guitarra e Vocal), Luciano Oliveira (Baixo), Cristóvão A. Viero (Guitarra) e Daniel Seimetz (Bateria), a banda começou a trabalhar em seu primeiro registro no roteiro da idéia originada por Alessandro Marques anos antes.

The history of the initial project of the Southern Brazilian band Father’s Face started in January, 2001. By then, guitarist and vocalist Alessandro Marques was doing the Music Course at UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul). Based on a class where the story “Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus” was related, Alessandro had the idea to write a conceptual work about the story.
In 2008, after a long search by the musicians for a serious work, the band was formed, with the line-up composed by Lucas Guimarães (Vocals), Alessandro Marques (Guitars, Grunts), Luciano Oliveira (Bass Guitar), Cristóvão A. Viero (Guitars) and Daniel Seimetz (Drums). With this formation, the band started working on its first recording based on that very script created by Alessandro some years before.
