The Gardner Music Hall is a former synagogue built in 1911. James Hall bought the building in 1997. Since then he has built a recording studio in the basement and opened the upstairs for a music hall in 2004. It is an intimate setting with theater style seating. The hall holds 180 people. It is fully handicap accessible. The sound quality of the hall has been compared to Worcester's Mechanics Hall. The Gardner Music Hall has seen many acts come through its doors. The diversity of the acts is incredible. Acoustic solo performers, jazz trios, hard rock bands, a dixieland jazz band, blues, and the list goes on. Now the Gardner Music Hall has settled on its identity as a place to go hear acoustic acts, jazz, and choral groups. It is also open for functions such as wedding ceremonies, conferences. There is no alcohol served at the hall. Coffee, snacks, soda, will be sold. Call 978-630-9994 if you want to play here or want to know new shows coming up.
My Interests
I'd like to meet:
Anyone interested in seeing a great show in a comfortable setting. Also local musicians who want their music heard. We have had national acts play as well.
