This is a site that's sole purpose is to help educate and stimulate the music community. This site will feature videos, music, interviews, concert calendar, and as much as we can squeeze on here for all of your enjoyment. We are here to advertise, showcase, and feature the genres of Hard Rock, Metal, Thrash, Punk, and Hardcore. This is our heart and soul of what we all do.
Long terms goals for this site is to be the number one site visited and utilized for a resource to keep fans informed and to recognize bands who make achievements far beyond that of a standard garage band. We will feature one band a month on our site to be our pick of the month and showcase music and videos as well as transcribed interviews that are a part of our 10 Questions Q & A segment. This exclusive Pulse of the Midwest Underground feature will have 10 questions answered uncensored and unedited by killer signed bands as well as local and regional unsigned. We will feature 3-5 new interviews on a weekly basis.
We work this site under anonimity, much like Slipknots original goal to be known for music and not for their names or faces, we strive to do the same. We wish to be known for our contribution to the scene/community without bias. We are a group of music industry professionals and fans alike, that have been involved with the scene for quite some time and have taken it upon ourselves in 2008 to make serious strides to take our business to places it has never been before. For starters, we have started a whole new network to create an unofficial family to better not only our ability to do business, but to also help promote our product better. At the same time, you are helping us help you.
Unsigned bands are the roots to this business, for it is you who helps to keep the spirit of music alive and well. Without unsigned bands and fans who care to see you, the very foundation of this business would be like walking on eggshells. We need you as much as you need us. Without the thousands of unsigned bands working themselves to the bone to get to the next level, we dare say there would be nothing to see on Ozzfest or Headbangers Ball. We are all made of the same flesh and blood and had to start somewhere.
