I am a poli Sci and psych major at the U of A and I bartend on the weekends at Woodys. I love my job and I really do love my customers, although the gay bar scene gets tiring for many obvious reasons. I have lived in a lot of places including Europe, so I have a very worldly attitude towards life and people. Here is what I have learned about myself:
LIKES
Humor. A sense of humor is the sexiest attribute one can boast. Intelligence, open-mindedness, kindness, animals, politics, sunsets, books that make me question, movies that make me want, music from artists whose passion makes me close my eyes to listen and take it in, coffee, traveling without agenda, dining alone, seeing movies alone, school, cross country drives, Dave Matthews, enthralling conversations, people who listen rather than waiting for their turn to speak, great wine, great friends, great sex, imagination, AMBITION, dreams, being terrified, happy people, jazz, spontaneity, losing yourself in the moment, and tears of laughter.
DISLIKES
Racists in all of their idiocy and self-involved splendor, broad generalizations, drugs and the people who use them (not including pot...), fast drivers, sunrises, impatience, people who demand attention and worse, that who demands to be the center of attention, mean drunks, sloppy drunks, the Bush administration, superficial people who care more about what label they are wearing than whether they can actually afford it, rap and club music, Britney Spears, two-faced people, liars, being fake, gin, pickles, moths, clingy people, and candy canes.
