Macgregor was a six piece band that was known for rippin it up any where they went. They were doin it real BIG especially in MD and DC. They played raw funked out Hip Hop beats and top'em off with Jazz-influenced , Soul driven horn lines. Vocally, Macgregors lyricists ride the beats with meticulously crafted lyrics pertaning to a wide variety of subject matter. These lyric are sometimes melodric and sometime stright up rap, but in all cases they are skillful and easy to feel. Macgergor's live show was Sick! Full of energy. The type of show that gets you bouncen off the wallz. The rhythm section concisted of Wax on guitar and twin bro Herbal T on bass. Fraz was on the drums, while the horn section was rounded out by Mike Gutierrez on tenor sax, The Eugenic played alto sax, and Jake Honoroff was on trumpet. Wax was the lead vocalist, although Herbz and The Eu also would get on the mic "and when they did they killed it!"
