Hunter's Productions Music & Arts, also known as HP, was founded in 2002 by Bishop Ernest E. Hunter. HP is established as a production company that promotes gospel music. Our mission is to impact the gospel music industry by producing skillful artists and musicians whose careers will be filled with promise, success and longevity. In addition, Hunter’s Productions offers comprehensive training in the fields of music and arts, free educational workshops to empower, coach and inform and awarding monetary awards to further the artist’s career.
We are best known for the HP Virginia Gospel Showcase, which is a spectacular annual event that features soloists, choirs, quartets, praise dancers and spoken word artists who are looking to display their talent with the chance to win such prizes as trophies, cash and even a demo recording deal with a legitimate recording studio. People come from all over the country to participate in this event and witness some of the greatest displays of gospel music today.
