About Me

Who We Are:
Koinonia is a Greek term that expresses fellowship with Christ (1Corinthians 1:9), with the Father (1John 1:3), with the Holy Spirit (2Corinthians 13:14), and also with other believers (1John 1:7). The purpose of Philly Koinonia Ministries is to provide opportunities of fellowship that focus on worshiping God by effectively using the gifts and talents that He has given to us. The opportunities that are provided are built upon the 5 Biblical purposes for the Church and help to support the vision of this Ministry, "Unifying A City Thru Fellowship".
It is through this fellowship that our audience’s additional needs of evangelism, discipleship, and/or ministry are addressed to help communicate solutions to various issues that continually plague our communities and the body of Christ. Some of our current ministry components are: the Koinonia Basketball League (Youth & Men), Koinonia Conferences, and Koinonia Special Events.
We are also very excited about the newest component God is birthing through this ministry - the Koinonia Music Group (KMG). KMG will exist to produce and promote inspirational and gospel recordings, utilizing the power of the Holy Spirit to create music. Our focus is to lead listeners into an experience that cultivates their faith, their world view, and their commitment to God. It is this focus that we believe will make an impact on today's society and ultimately impact the world of tomorrow.
Additional information about KMG and any other programs is available at www.SimplyKoinonia.com.
