Come Outside and Join the Ride

About Me

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose" - Jim Elliot on one's commitment to Christ. Life is like a bank account, you withdraw from what you've put in.Pretty laid back feller. Some things I'm interested in, are sports (any of the Dallas teams, especially the Cowboys). Racing (No. 3 Dale Earnhardt all the way), reading, music, hanging out with my friends. As of now, I'm a hard working, money earning college graduate who enjoys what I do. As stated above, I'm pretty much cool with hanging out or going out, doesn't make much difference to me. Just being in one's company is fun to me, getting to know them, or if out with my friends, just having a good time and laughing. If you want to know anything more, just email me and I'll give you a holler back. TSU Pride, BLEED PURPLE!

My Interests

I'm really interested in building things. Whether that be with my hands, or with a computer or however, just being able to see something and go "yeah, I made that." That's what I like. Other interests include getting to travel and be outdoors. I'm all about seeing nature and whatnot, one of my goals is to visit all 50 states before I ride off into the sunset. I wouldn't mind seeing other parts of this world as well. I'm interested in building hot rods, haven't gotten the money for it yet, but working on that. I like girls of course, that's a no brainer. Alot of it is up there in the about me section as well, you know, sports, music, movies and the like.

I'd like to meet:

Well, I almost met Dale Earnhardt once, was about 5 feet away, so him, Emmitt Smith. Other people more historical and whatnot are, George Washington so I could see what it was like to win the Revolutionary War, Sam Houston to see how it felt to win Texan Independence, all the people at the Alamo, and Abe Lincoln. Also, all the veterans of the U.S. Military, they have so much history to share, it's extremely interesting to talk to someone who was actually there defending this great nation and being a part of history. And of course Jesus Christ, but not just yet, I hope to have a few more years left here on Earth.

Music:

I like Country, Rock, some Heavy Metal, some Rap, Jazz, Classic Rock, a wide variety basically. If it's got a good beat, something I can roll with, then I'm good to go. Being a drummer and all, it's gotta have a good sound. I'm not too particular in what I'm listening to when I got music on, I can listen to country then switch to hard rock or classic rock and so on, just whatever I find on the radio that suits my liking at the moment.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars (all of 'em), basically, there are so many I can't name them all. Let's say I buy/rent/go watch them on a regular basis. I'm a movie fiend. But hey, we all gotta have one vice in life, if this is mine, I'm doing pretty damn good. Ok so I lied, movies and gum.

Television:

Cowboys Football, Modern Marvels, MegaMachines (hey, I manufacture stuff for a living, so c'mon, it only makes sense), House, NCIS, The 4400, History Channel, A&E, Biography Channel, Discovery Channel, some other programs on NBC, ABC, and CBS, and that's really about it these days, most times I'm either working, sitting in traffic going home from work, reading, or talking to friends. Although, I make time to watch the Cowboys games, 3 hours out of a week for football ain't that bad.

Books:

I have finished Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Black Hawk Down, The Left Behind Series (all 14 of them), Angels and Demons, Deception Point, Digital Fortress, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Spare Parts, Burning Water, The Da Vinci Code, Last Man Standing, When Thunder Rolled, Flags of our Fathers. I'm currently reading Flyboys, and I got some others lined up after that including the 15th book in the Left Behind Series, and then I'm sure there are some other books I'll find along the way.

Heroes:

My Parents and Grandparents. All the men and women in the U.S. Military, may you return home safely. God Bless the USA!
