Hey everyone, I'm Bruce. Lately, I have become very involved in raising money and awareness of RSDS, a rare nerve disorder that my father has. A fundraiser that I put together recently for the first time raised over $4000 and had over 90 people come out to learn about this rare disease. Also, for those of you in NJ, please contact your legislators and urge them to support the passage of A-4208, the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Education and Research Program Act. I'm a graduate student at Kean University getting my Master's Degree in Political Science/American and State Government. But during the day, I am Chief of Staff for Assemblyman Mike Panter (one of the finest public servants that I have ever had the opportunity to work for), which gives me the opportunity to really do some things to help people living in the 12th Legislative District which includes portions of Monmouth and Mercer counties in New Jersey (hey, not everyone in politics is looking out for themselves). I guess that I am one of those people who still has some idealism left in him because despite all of the bad things I have seen in politics and state government, I still believe that it is our job to help those who need it, even if there is nothing to gain politically from doing so. In my spare time, I love to travel. I have been to the Caribbean and to Europe and want to see more of the world like Portugal, Greece, Australia, the western United States/Canada, Africa, and South America.
