Dragonfly were complete in 2006, when finally the trio ( Kristoffer, Benjamin, Tobias ) got the missing part they were searching for.
After several years of searching for a can'do bass player who could fill the gap, Tobias and Steffen ( guitar. ) met in high school. They decided to form another band with other musicians from their school.
Steffen told Tobias about his twin brother who played the bass, and then we got started. After some tries they realised that it was hopeless to get everyone inside one room at the same time, so they split up.
A couple of months passed and Tobias started to talk with Kristoffer and Benjamin again, he told them about this super extraordinary bass player who he met through someone at his school.
The trio had now grown into 4 members ( Kristoffer, Benjamin, Tobias and Stian ) and things stared to get really funkadelic.
The band began to play some gigs around town and it would seem that the local townspeople enjoyed the music they played.
Roughly half a year went by and Tobias started to speak with Stians brother who he first met in high school, Steffen.
Tobias went to his band and introduced Steffen as the guitar player who would join our musical journey and the band gladly took him with them.
The band now known as Dragonfly were formed.
They started writing their own music as well as playing some other tunes.
Later they met a keyboard player who they thought could be the final piece of the puzzle, but it didnt work out as well as they planned to, so they continued without him, and are now back to the original five.
And their still there.
So far, so good.
