Who is Oh Donahue? They are your new best friend.Raised together in small town Indiana two brothers grew up with a love for music and a like for each other. Separated for 3 years they developed there own taste and styles of music and they each began to write apart of each other. They both tried their hands at bands and even a solo project with nothing showing too much fruit.Starting in October of 2007 the wayward brothers found themselves together again and in a small coffee shop downtown South Bend Oh Donahue was formed, with a little of one and a little of the other.After about a year of writing and playing a new member of Oh Donahue was added. Ryan Delaney is an old friend of Kyle and Zach. Why the idea of the three of us playing together did not come sooner is a mystery to all of us.With the release of there new Ep This Basement Sings the band hit the road on there second national tour. From the corn fields of Indiana to the deserts of California, they have developed a solid fan base and great friends along the way. Keeping the philosophy that even if you don't like our music then at least we can make you laugh.With the addition of the newest member Devin Mattix playing Bass. The band has recently taken some time off to write in preparation of recording there first full length album. Really discovering the music that they love to write and play is slightly different than what they have been doing. Thankful for the past and excited for the future. Ohdonahue is looking forward to a complete relaunch and reinvention of this little project that started in a little coffee shop 2 years ago, and has grown to something the two brothers never imagined. With the upcoming recording and complete redesign and sound of the band they are planning on establishing themselvess under the name Here Comes Hope. As for now they are still Ohdonahue and playing some of the songs there fans know and love while slowly mixing in the new sound there going for, which has been described as "Alternative Indie pop/rock". With great response and feed back to the new sound the band looks forward to recording and touring in the very near future. They remain the same fun loving guys that would just as well love to make you laugh or play you a song.
