Adoptee's Voice

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am an adoptee who successfully searched and found both of my birth parents. I have written a memoir, The Sound of Hope: A True Story of an Adoptee's Quest for her Origins portraying how my adoptive parents, family and society in general, frowned upon my search and reunion with my birth mother and how they especially chastised me for wanting to maintain an ongoing relationship with her. I feel that it is time for adoptees to speak out and stand up for our rights to obtain our own vital information as adults, and the right to search, find and develop lasting relationships with dignity with all members of our families, adoptive and biological. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone touched by adoption. I'd also love to hear from all who are interested in Reiki and everything metaphysical
