About Me

Hello, I'm Daniel McKean. I'm lead guitarist of the London-based band Monkey Rope , for whom I also write the occasional song and sing the occasional vocal/harmony. I also do sessions (as a guitarist, bassist, pianist) for folk and country man Yo Zushi , who released his second album, "Notes For Holy Larceny", not so long ago. Anyway, my own personal page features stuff I've recorded at home on BITZA. Some of the stuff is sparse and folky, and other bits are fuller-sounding, with layered guitars and keyboards. Wherever possible, vocal harmonies are thrown in. I'll try and add some instrumentals, too, eventually. Signing out now, folks.
