This young aspiring Singer/Songwriter started his musical path in 2001; shortly afterward he signed up to Inferno Records with Eric Orian and Fabian Liscott as a group called RYZE. They quickly gained success with there first single ‘In My Life’ (produced by K Warren and written by TJ Lewis) which got into the top 30 of the UK national charts. The group also went onto release a collaboration with Mc Harvey (ex So Solid member), entitled ‘Sexy Body’ released in 2003. TJ and RYZE did a number of high profile shows including supporting some of englands hottest acts such as Misteeq,Blazin Squad and Harvey from So Solid.
Since then TJ has been currently working on his own album entitled Sine Qua Non.
The New album Sine Qua Non (The Essential Requirement) offers a new and exciting sound to the UK. R&B being the main foundations of this album with a twist of pop, dance, classical, hip hop and dancehall. This album is largely diverse, thus appealing to all ages and across different genres. TJ is a testament to the development of songwriting in the UK and beyond. In doing so, TJ will prove he is the missing requirement needed in the UK music scene today.
