Free MySpace Layouts Bruised egos, perforated ear drums, and the old time cliché of blood sweat and tears thrown very much out of the kitchen and into the collective frying pan that is the UK and its music scene. Briganté aren’t trying to be anything other then what they are… Indie rock and roll with lashings of funk rock combined to make music that oozes confidence, self-control and energy that would make even the most hardened music critic sit up, listen and get excited.Briganté are all set to make waves in the modern day British music scene. Five lads hailing from Bedford display a maturity and intelligence both individually and as a collective. The music they write is hard pushed to be likened to any other artist currently on the music scene today… Try if you must, answers on a postcard…There are no boundaries, there are no rules, there are no requirements or regulations. Briganté have not been decreed or sanctioned by any governing body or institution. They are who they are and the music is what it is… I suggest you watch the energetic display and immerse yourself into the depths of the immense vocals that garnish this exciting four piece.

"Since their last Esquires visit at last years Red Stripe music gig, Brigante have undergone a line up change. Luke has taken on vocals and he displays a casual laid back style. It's he who weaves the band into such a cohesive whole. The quartet are beginning to find their feet again. They rock politely with controlled musicianship and a scuffed magnetism. The rebirth of Brigante has finally begun. An intrigueing mix of "Break it up" and The Ting Tings "Thats not my name" works really well when it shouldn't. The army of Brigante followers justly deserve an encore and duly receive one from a band who tonight enjoyed what they created." Review by Martin Stapleton - Bedford Esquires"The line-up of Bedford's best includes many names which will be famous to regular Go! readers.Brigante, for example, are so hotly-rated that they have already represented Bedford at an international rock festival in Rovigo, Italy, back when they were called Rate Of The Day". Extract from Bedford Today website"Bedford band Brigante bounced back onto the music scene after a year out and wowed with a superb cover version of the Tings Tings "Thats Not My Name".
