About Me

We are a band from Salisbury. We play our own brand of quirky, yet contemporary, guitar psychedelic indie type glam rock stomp sing-a-long stuff. Chock a block with hooks, soaring choruses and potential greatest hits albums.

On drums we have highly regarded solo recording artist Pete Aves, who is also guitarist in renowned indie band The High Llamas and wears hats. Here's a couple of press snippets from some of his solo albums;
Anyone who can combine folk, 70s soft rock and Beatlesesque wistfulness definitely merits your attention. Mojo, Nov 2002
I've worked with many good guitar players and damn few great ones. Pete Aves is one of the great ones. Lee Hazlewood.
Simon Berry makes up the tunes and sings them and plays guitar. His sideways lyrics are intensely meaningful to some, and peculiarly odd to others. He used to receive hate mail as a local music journalist.
The other guitarist is suave Francophile Carl Henderson. He is a very elegant cook and once owned a recording studio in France. He can do jazz guitar and blues and everything. But doesn't.
Bass player Tack used to play with competition winning former most popular band in the region Head to Head, and almost every other band ever in Salisbury. He seems to be made out of a smooth, thick, musical liquid and is very relaxed and really likes smoking.
Doing keyboards and sound effects is man of mystery Neil Buckley - also known as Chalkpit Farm and Mr Buckley. He uses three different keyboards and has a lovely back garden which he made himself.
We all love each other and hope to be famous.
Here's some bonus information.
Terry Bickers, out of House of Love and Levitation and that, played on and recorded one of our early demos.
Patrick Campbell-Lyons, he of ultra-cool, swinging 60's flowerpoppers Nirvana ( Rainbow Chaser etc...) asked us to come to Greece and do some recording. He is Carl's friend.
BBC6music played 'Burn' on their show, It was good.
Mathew Priest off of Dodgy likes us and is helping to promote us with gigs and stuff. We are supporting Dodgy at The Brook, Southampton, on May 15th.. ..
