Julie Berg

Hi!Thank you for stopping by my space..My name is Julie Berg. I grew up in a small town called Vennesla, south of Norway. All my life I've been doing music. My parents love music. My dad plays the piano, my mom is a singer and my brother plays the guitar. So I can say we're a busy family doing music, but we never play together. Well, my parents did for twenty- twenty-five years ago.. =)I started songwriting when I was twelve years old. I had a though time at school, with friends and boyfriends, I thought the collusion to get over it was by writing. And I was right! Songwriting for me is therapy. And eight years later I’m still writing about boyfriends.. hehe :P Maybe you hear I don’t know how to date a good guy, but things are going to change! My music too is going to be change. Instead of writing depressing songs I’m going to try hard writing songs that will make people feel good. A new song : “My baby love”, is coming out soon, I hope.. The title “My baby love” makes me go “yaiks”, it’s too romantic for me.. heh:P I forgot to say I also write about philosophy (the big questions of life), my life & love (generally)I studied music in college at Vågsbygd Videregående skole for three years. It was a lot of hard work, and I still think of it as a miracle that I passed (with good grades as well). When I was done at Vågsbygd I moved to Stavanger to go at Acta Bibleschool at Imi-church. And I'm still in Stavanger, working in a bookstore and with music
