The Name: Bloodlust, the name was chosen by Anton. With a song by legendary Venom and an interest in vampirism, Bloodlust was set to be the name for the first Death Metal Band from Bangladesh.
History: Bloodlust is the first step to extreme music in Bangladesh. The band emerged in the year 1999 by Anton on vocals and Fahim on guitars and drum programming. Upon recording four demos, Anton left for Australia and Bloodlust was on hold.
Anton came back to Bangladesh in the year 2005 and met bassist Cezzane at a local gig and through him a few other musicians. Bloodlust emerged once again. With constant line-up changes on an unfavourable land for extreme music, Bloodlust kept on performing at gigs and recorded a few other demos.
on the 18th of January 2008, Bloodlust announced their last show at RCC as two members (Anton and Salman) are leaving the country. The band is active at the moment and writing new material.
