Oakfield Drive hasn't been around for that long. Bram Molenaers, whose voice and guitar are to be heard, has been writing for a very long time though. It didn't take too long before an individual sound came along. Regardless of the many inspirations and influences that could eventually lead into a specific direction, everything kept pointing the way to other approaches concerning lyrics, melodies and sound. At one point everything falls into place and that's the moment to jump into the world. Oakfield Drive saw the light of day and jumped into the world.The name 'Oakfield Drive' basically refers to the fact that everyone has to make choices. When you look back one day, you'll remember what it was that made you who you are. Some roads may bring you from A to B in a jiffy, but in the end it's all about the journey and everyone involved.Recently the EP: "A World Not Knowing" was released. The concept is an open diary. The songs can best be described as personal tales. Each song takes a closer look at a specific situation and deals with the question or the thoughts on why these particular occasions stay so vividly in your memory.
