Hailing from Exeter, England, the solo project of Polygon Swab is a spectrum of primarily electronica, and everything in between ranging from an eclectic blend of darkly ambient soundscapes, heavy drums, synthesisers and mood laden poetry.
'Metamorphosis', her debut album (2007), and the self titled 'Polygon Swab' E.P (2008) are testiment to the changing charactor of Polygon Swabs music. 'Metamophosis' - An album based upon dreams and visions, capturing moments of bliss and spiritual awakening,takes you on a journey of change through different genres and moods, whilst the self titled E.P 'Polygon Swab' encompasses a slightly darker turn of events, focusing on the balance between the music and lyrics being equally expressive, at times conjuring a comforting blanket of shadows, followed by a helpless naivity of lust and fantasy.
The driving force behind Polygon Swab,Sezrah Sylvan, has had a very varied background in music, from acoustic, jazz, funk, hard rock to drum and bass, and has played many gigs over the UK and Europe. Links to her other solo projects:
