Tha Dead Poetz

"Death in the world is rebirth through the soul."

About Me

found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com"Tha Dead Poetz...birthing a new movement...the 'Soul' movement...brothers P-Soul and A-Minor bring the hottest in soul/hip-hop music...incorporating jazz, soul, hip-hop and live acoustic sound. These two young men are truly a force to be reckoned with. Performing as a band since 2001, The Dead Poetz and their Hypatekz family have innovated the R&B genre with a rare dose of harmonic honesty and lyrical truth, something that has been lost in the game for some time...their music is not watered, it's full of life and 'Soul'. Getting their inspiration from artists such as; Raphael Saadiq, Stevie Wonder and The Roots, just to name a few, the Dead Poetz have drawn comparisons to the likes of the Fugees. Known to play acoustic or full band sets(members at times vary: J-Roc(drums/vocals), L-Boog(production/engineer), Justonez(production), Dai/Darell(guitar), Adonis(keys). The DP's have rocked shows all across the Northwest to critical acclaim; the only thing left to do is take over the music industry. Their long awaited and much anticipated album 'Psycology/Tha Dead Poet' is set for release Spring of 2006. In the meantime, the Dead Poetz can be seen representing the 'Soultron' clique, which include many other great local talents...Daniel 'Skyhigh' Mcclain and 'JT and Tha Dirty Truth'. Its winding down to the day of soul and the last days...Watch out for 'Tha Dead Poet Society..."
