In 2003, Stufend Records was founded by Dan Hillier and Chris Davies. The label signed a few bands, including No Where To Go, almost immediately after starting. Fast-forward to 2007. Four years after forming with no official releases, Stufend was basically dead. Over the summer of 2007, No Where To Go recorded their self titled debut album. Self-produced, recorded, and funded, NWTG decided to release it themselves. Since no one in the band was clever enough to think of a name for a label to release the album under, I decided to ask Danny Hillier if we could still the Stufend name. Being unoriginal from the start is always a good way to start a label, so after releasing the NWTG album on December 2, 2007, I decided to make Stufend a label for more bands than just No Where To Go. In January, The Roast Beafs and 9:18 officially became members of the Stufend family. In Spring 2008, Blame The City(formerly Civil Blitzkrieg) signed to Stufend, with plans of releasing a new album some time in 2008.9:18's The Deep Dish E.P. is out now.The Roast Beafs new album Fo' Lunch will have a release date announced very soon. All Stufend releases will be available from www.interpunk.com and at all No Where To Go shows. Also, if you don't believe in interpunk, just send me a message and we can arrange some way of getting you whatever Stufend release you desire.-Ryan O'Leary
