In & Out Productions was formed by Joe Copeland and Mike Maupin in the summer of 2007 after the two life long friends decided to turn their dream of making a film into a reality. They have spent countless hours on brainstorming, developing and writing projects that have the potential to become the new bench mark in an over produced genre. In late October 2007 they enlisted their good friend Bill Robison of BladeHouse Public Relations in an effort to get their first project off the ground. After listening to Joe and Mike pitch their project and reviewing the script, Bill began to reach out to anyone who would listen. With Joe and Mike's immagination at the helm and Bill's push to promote and market what he believes to be exceptionally great and potentially up and coming masterminds of the horror genre...not only does it seems as if dreams may come true but their project may very likely become a reality sooner than later.When asked why they are passionate about making film and developing new projects they almost gave identical answers:"Film is not about big name actors, big budgets, or great effects. Film is about losing yourself for a couple of hours in a world that is absolutely unattainable for the average John Doe. Its entering a brand new world and expeirencing things that just are not possible. Immersing yourself, becoming the main character, sharing the characters pain, tribulations and triumphs. For those few hours you should become an entirely different person and lose yourself in the mystery and the imagination that makes up the art of film. We hope to share these experiences with you and let you inside our minds." Joeseph Matthew Copeland was born in Nashville, TN on August 31, 1984 to Sandra and Donald Gedge. He is the middle child of six siblings. He currently lives in Murfreesboro, TN. When asked why he likes horror movies he stated: " Even as a child I have always been a huge fan of horror movies. Every weekend my friends and I would rent a stack of low budget horror films. I think it is easier to get lost in the the story of a horror film than any other genre out there. Being a fan and having such passion for the genre, I myself want to create a story for people to get lost in. Michael Thomas Maupin was born in Murfreesboro, TN on June 18, 1985 to Danyale Stacey. He is the oldest of two siblings. His sister lives in Murfreesboro, TN. Mike has stated " I connect to horror films more than any other form of film. I feel that it is the only genre where you do not see a perfect image of a character. There is nothing that pushes the human emotions more than fear. I think fear is the truest form of human emotion. Other films such as romantic comedies follow a cinderella story format where the outcome is always forseen and does not show the depth of the human personality." Bill Robison was born on April 20, 1977 to Billie and Dennis Robison in Chester, Illinois. He has an older sister and younger brother. His parents still reside in his hometown of Pinckneyville, Illinois. Bill lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with his wife lori and three year old daughter Brooklyn. Bill stated... "When I graduated from college I never would have guessed I would be where I am today doing what I am doing. I have had so many opportunities and done so many things that others never get the chance to do. In & Out Productions is a new chapter in my life. I am not sure what will come of it in the end, but I know that I have embarked on this journey with my two best friends. It will be one hell of a ride."
