Murk was first formed back in '01, in the post-card perfect town of Prineville, Oregon. Officially we are from Terrebonne, Oregon. We pride ourselves on family values and patriotism.
Murk is a classy metal band: crisp and refined. Slow-metal. Straight-forward, chunky beats coupled with nostalgic harmonic squeal generate a groove that makes you want to dance around, or into someone.
We take great pride in the content of our lyrics. We will never slam America. We love this country. We would never slam the troops and we make a point of thanking them at every show. We would freely take a shot at the government, however. And we know deep in our hearts, there is a special place in hell for house members and senators.
We love what we do here at Murk, and will continue to provide the high-quality music we have been putting out, for years to come.
