About Me

Im 24 years old. I was born in Orange County California and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. and some how ended up here in Asheville, NC. I have a job at the Post Office, and love it. I have a little boy (six) named Gavin and a girl named Kendyl. I love to take my kids to the park and lake. We chill by the water all summer. I love to walk, camp, love playing poker and shoping but my favorite hobby is fishing!! I love to be on the boat. I hate fishing with Daniel because Daniel gets them before I get a chance. haha I like to try new things and when someone thinks that I wont do something, Im the one who has to prove them wrong. :) I would rather hang out with my family then go out. I love my family and my hubby Daniel... halloween layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments

Books:

Artical from Asheville Citizens Times about my little Bro~ 9/7/08 REYNOLDS – Daniel Harrington swore this would be the year. Not next year or the year after that. This year, his senior year at Reynolds High.Somehow, someway, Harrington and the rest of the Rockets’ 28-man senior class would go out as their school’s fourth state championship football team.Instead, the youngest of Cindy and Larry Harrington’s seven children was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident in October 2005. Everyone closest to the bubbly, extroverted lineman took extra time to honor him Wednesday – it would have been Daniel Harrington’s 18th birthday.“Sometimes people I meet don’t know what to say to me, but I feel blessed,” Cindy Harrington said. “My husband can’t handle going to games, it’s just too hard. Daniel always said this would be the season they went to state. I want to be at the games whenever I can, especially this year.”For a classmate who never lacked or strove for popularity points, the placement makes sense.Daniel Harrington’s old uniform number (60) sits under Dalton Stadium’s scoreboard. Two large, white numerals are staked into the ground and will remain there until the Rockets’ current seniors complete their careers. It’s the most visual, but certainly not the lone remembrance of Harrington.“He’s very much on our players’ minds, especially the seniors,” Reynolds coach Shane Laws said. “He would have been right out there with them.”Cabrals pay tributeRockets senior defensive lineman Tony Cabral rolled up a shirtsleeve Thursday. The same right arm so muscular it could sell space for advertising contains a tattoo of Harrington’s initials. They accompany a pair of hands clasped in prayer. When Cabral and his younger brother, Reynolds senior linebacker Rudy Cabral, moved here from San Bernandino, Calif., in elementary school, they needed a temporary place to stay. The Harrington family opened their home.“Daniel was like a brother to us,” Tony Cabral said. “There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. I’d love nothing more than to take a (state championship) ring to his mom.”Ring or no ring, the Cabral brothers have already proposed that Cindy Harrington accompany them onto the field for senior night ceremonies on Nov. 7. And the Rockets (2-0) are a tad closer to making good on Daniel Harrington’s vow of a state title. The three-time Northwestern Conference champions piled on neighborhood rival Owen, 34-0, Friday at Dalton.“Daniel should be here,” Rudy Cabral said. “It’s tough sometimes. It teaches you to never take life for granted. And it gives me goosebumps to think we’re going out there and playing for him.”Before every game, the Cabrals carry around a trophy that Cindy Harrington gave to them. Not just any generic, stock trophy awarded for athletic accomplishments. It’s an angel carrying a football. Rockets players take turns kissing and rubbing the angel for luck.“I feel very honored that so many people remember Daniel,” Cindy Harrington said. “I love the (Cabrals). I love all the kids. Daniel touched so many people.”
