About Me

I decided to make this page to display my other creations that do not necessarily fit into the The Vincent Hayes Project's usual format. In addition to blues guitar, I also enjoy just writing music for the sake of creating it, whether it fits into a category of being "blues" or not. Over the years I have tried to integrate many of these sounds and feelings into the blues band, but some of them are just too ambiguous for landing on a blues recording. I will periodically be updating the music tracks as new songs are written and old ideas breathe back to life. Eventually I'll make some of them available for download and possibly onto a solo CD. I'll also be throwing in some of the prose, poetry, and articles I have written for publications such as The Blues Festival Guide, as well as some of my photography. A portfolio of sorts. So for now, just think of this page as a big ball of clay, and after a while it all might get whittled into some tangible form and purpose. Maybe you'll dig some of this stuff, maybe not, either way, you made the journey, and that's what counts.Breaking News!!! Vincent Hayes just signed a two-year endorsement with GHS Guitar Strings! Listen to GHS Boomers on Vincent's track of "Sound Check Blues in Cm".
