While many of his friends turned to drugs and a short lived life of crime, he chose to focus his energy and talents towards music. It was inevitable for him to be influenced by the Spanish music such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Musica Tipica being played by the adults in the barrio while the youth listened to hip/hop and reggae/dance hall which is what has made him the artist that he is today. Currently working on a Spanish and English Album and EP to reach out to the Latino market . Making a strong connection with a label from Spain, Alvarez has managed to promote himself on an international level (Ireland,Australia,England,Spain,US). Fusing a unique versatility in English and Spanish has opened many new doors in his career. Promotions include but are not limited to Never2Funky.com, Myspace.com, performances in the New England area. 2006 to 2007 promoting an Album/EP/Mixtape. 2003 to 2004 Wrigleys Winter Fresh Commercial, starred and produced in the first nationally aired commercial for Winter Fresh Strips (cable and class A network). 2001 to 2002 Coca Cola Radio Commercial featured in national bilingual campaign to advertise to Latino community. 2001 to 2002 Much Music USA/Extra Featured in Mix-tape Masterpiece promotion/documentary on Hip-Hop. 2000-2002 formed/starred/produced/distributed rap group Fallen Angelz on WWW.CDBABY.com/cd/Fallenangelz. 1999 managed/ produced/starred in rap group Number Runnerz which headlined a college tour for major rap groups. 1996 featured as an artist on REV-RUN Records in Sin Assasinz rap group which was promoted on MTV, BET and Source Magazine. Mostly compared to a modern KRS One for his very lyrical rhymes/conscious style has made him a Trail Blazer. With a deep respect for real old school hip hop, he makes sure that all his lyrics give the listening audience something to laugh, cry, think or talk about. Influenced by Artists such as 2 Pac, Nas, KRS One, Big Pun and Run D.M.C. has played a big part in his artistic expression. His goal, like other artists in this profession is to become successful but not to use his wealth to floss and buy expensive jewelry. Instead he wants to focus more on the less fortunate and give back to his community.
