Having been influenced by his grandfather who was a musician, an artist, an author, and even wrote poetry with Marcus Garvey, it was easy for ELI (born Leroy Cadet) to get his creativity going through poetry and artwork at an early age. ELI then grew into singing and songwriting during his teenage years. Friends and especially females knew even then that what they were hearing was truly captivating. Now, after countless lyrics and honing his vocal skills, he has matured and decided to take yet another step forward and record his work for the world to hear.
