Courtney Bowles

I started singing fourteen years ago with a small children's choir in El Dorado Hills California. I never imagined it would take me on the path I am on today. Singing took over my life and became my passion. In high school I knew becoming a professional musician was my calling. I moved to San Diego and went to San Diego State where I was in the Vocal Performance program. Performing in operas, choirs, and recitals never wore me out, and after each performance I couldn't wait to start the next project. In 2006 I finished my bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and moved back to the Sacramento area.Over the years I have sung a wide range of musical genres—from opera to pop. Yet, I enjoy the musical style of Josh Groban and that’s where I’m focusing my voice. I love singing classical music and at the same time adding a new interesting edge to it. Music is always changing but the one thing that remains constant is the raw emotion that comes through it.I can't imagine doing anything else but singing- it is my life's passion.
