The Correction Brothers

The Correction Brothers met way back in the old days of Humble, Texas, where playing in a band meant covering Pop Country at Wilson Road Hall or Classic Rock at any number of incredibly lame sports bars. Not satisfied with these options, Dale and Mark set out on divergent musical journeys that eventually led them both to Austin. Back in the good ol’ days of Humble, the two had discussed the possibility of starting a project together, but the timing never quite worked out. When they ended up living in the same city again it seemed like such a project was not only on the horizon, but was somehow meant to be. To Mark and Dale, it seemed as though the universe was attempting to correct itself when they finally started playing together in the summer of 2007. With just a banjo, a mandolin, and a vaguely defined idea, The Correction Brothers were born. They create music that reflects their individual journeys while complementing each other in such a way that makes it seem as if no time had elapsed between now and the days of suburban drudgery in Humble.
