About Me

Niki Sexton's adoration of radio was born just a decade after her own arrival here on planet Earth. Triple-pierced ear glued to a garage-sale procured speaker, Niki somehow always found the time to annoy whichever DJ had the poor fortune to take her 100th call of the day. Eight years later at the age of 18, Niki converted her passion into 'negative' cash flow, starting a career that has witnessed her hosting four of her own top Arbitron ranked radio shows, as well as voicing over 200 commercials for clients such as Napster and Toyota. Before skating along The Edge as “Niki at Night,” she shouted out at various decibel levels on WXNR 99X, WRQR Rock 104.5, and WBBB 96 Rock in North Carolina, and KCAL 96.7 in Redlands. Most recently, Niki transitioned from Clear Channel's Los Angeles promotions and production team. Among Niki's favorite areas of stereophonic focus have been interviewing musicians, comedians, and true/wannabe celebrities, as well as an on-air appearance with Dickie Barrett on LA's Indie 103.1. When not on the air, Niki can be found barreling down Malibu's finest on her flower-adorned Hawaiian Custom's long board, or rehearsing with her new project, 'Stereo Theory'. *******************************Coming soon...

Influences: On a lighter note, these guys and their video STILL make me cry in a different way. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Here's to public nudity and my ever longing appreciation for Blink 182.

Why I love Radio, and "Learning to love Radio again"

For my radio friends.. We all have our reasons for loving radio. Why we do what we do, say what we say, play what we want to or have to play, and why we even turn it on to begin with. I guess my passi...
