A Lady, a Worshipper, a Singer/Songwriter, a Minister of Music, a Wife, a Hairstylist, a Poet, a Playwright and more, Jalena Jenkins-Poston is saved and anointed by God.Born September 4th, 1972 and the oldest of her siblings, God blessed the earth with yet another unique creation and has stamped His approval on her life with an awesome testimony of triumph. Her family history is rich with musical talent and spiritual gifts so her leadership abilities are definitely God given. With each soulful expression of music, the Holy Spirit conveys her talents with a captivating voice into a gift that ushers in the presence of the Lord.Under the leadership of her Pastor, the late Elder Carl E. Hines, Jr., she has ministered through song and served as a Music Department Leader at the Shiloh Church Of God In Christ, Harrisburg, PA. She formally served as the Children’s Choir Director for the United Methodist Church Neighborhood Center in Harrisburg, Pa. She is the Vice-President/CCO of JirehCreations Enterprises, Inc., a musical/theatrics company. She formally served as the Minister of Music of Garden of Prayer Church of God In Christ, Philadelphia, PA and the Choir Administrator of the Fire In The City Crusade Choir, also in Philadelphia, PA. She is now Director of Musical Services for JirehCreations Music, attends New Day Way of the Cross Church of Christ, Pastor Russell R. Jenkins, Jr. in Harrisburg, PA and is working on her first novel, “A Few Days In My Shoes…†She is married to Mr. Charles E. Poston, Jr., of Detroit, MI. Charles and Jalena currently reside in Harrisburg, PA.Having sung all over the east coast, with many church and workshop choirs, teaching many soloists and choirs to sing, Jalena is featured on the last three CD’s with the COGIC Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdictional Choir as a soloist and songwriter. She has blessed thousands of people with her worship unto God.
