I like music with a powerful message, regardless of genre or style. Politics, love, sex, assertiveness, freedom, are the types of messages I look for. I like to hear and feel the artists inspiration and apply it to my experience. Un-inspired or pointless music annoys the shit out of me.

For pure listening enjoyment, I like industrial, electro-metal, and chill. I love games and I listen to game soundtracks. Overclocked Remix is the bomb diggity.

I'll give anything a try though. Good music can come from anywhere. I dig a few of the tracks on Willie Nelsons new box-set.

I used to be a huge movie buff back in the day. I grew up on sci-fi and horror in the 80's and 90's. Not so much anymore.

I like non-fiction, educational, political, and analytical types of books. Fiction books are a waste of my time, I would rather watch a movie.

I do make exceptions for fiction novels if they are allegories/parallels of real events, or have heavy political undertones. (i.e., George Orwell)
