Brightside is a musical group that evolved in a suburban town outside of Boston in the year 2005. It started with the fantasy of making a band, (Any 4th graders dream) and turned into reality.
Camrock (Cormac) was a talented drummer who played for the school band. After conversing with his best friend Jeremy, who was the only bass player in the school. They decided that for that years "talent show" they were going to rock the school with something different. But they needed a guitarist. Every one was still amateurs so there choices were limited. Jeremy new of a girl who was one of the more skilled guitarists in their grade. Sophia, who had moved to Jeremy and Cormac's town the year before, when she began playing joined and finally it, began.
2 years after successfully staying together they added another guitarist, Zafo (Seth) who was with them for one year until under certain circumstances had problems with creative control and quit.
But we will have you know that he is placed in a newly made group, Copper Leaf, and is making great progress.
For some added punch, in 2008, Brightside added mad-keyboardist Benji MK and later super-guitarist Noah WL.
Brightside combines Alternative, with classic rock, and experiments with some punk.
All of their songs are composed, written, and played originally.
Their gigs consist of local libraries; company Christmas parties, bar mitzvahs, school events, fundraisers, and other locations.
