About Me

I'm the Anti-thug, the Realest Idealist. A Denizen of the Universe. I sometimes put salt on my watermelon. I don't get offended by anything. I hope to one day be a cartoon character. If I can't do that, I want to be a clown. I love reading and writing. Edgar Poe is one of my personal heroes. I eat tomatoes like they're apples. I eat lemons like they're apples. I'm an author, a poet, a painter, and a rapper. My favorite card game is Spades. I once wrote a rock song called "Your Favorite Super Villain". I love to travel. I travel to love. I enjoy eating food. I enjoy underground music.I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican. I'm not a Christian. I'm not a Muslim or a Jew or a Hindu. I'm not black. I'm not white. I'm not rich. I'm not poor. I am none of those things if I am not all of them.

My Interests

Writing, reading, trying new things, learning. Impeaching the president...
Click here to learn what's happening in Darfur, Sudan

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. Bring something to the table!!!!Also, Yoshua bin Yosef, Muhammed, Siddhartha Gautama, Confucius, Lao Tzu, Moses, and all the other prophets. Then we'll see what's what, ha ha...Also, Mark Twain, Edgar Alan Poe, Langston Hughes, Zora Neal Hurston, Walter Mosley, Zadie Smith, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and other great writers and musicians.Hmmm... prophets, authors, and jazz artists. What does that say about me?

Music:

Stuff that doesn't get too much radio play. Over-commercialization kills art. Especially music. And I don't discriminate; there are good and bad songs in every genre...

Movies:

Devil In A Blue Dress, of course; Back To The Future; Indiana Jones; Star Wars; Ninja Scroll; The Princess Bride; Big Trouble in Little China; old kung fu flicks; too many other movies to mention; anything original.

Television:

The Boondocks, The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, South Park, Forensic Files, anything that's good.

Books:

My own book, "Nova" (available now at BARNESANDNOBLE.COM or AMAZON.COM ), because it's mine. Also, anything by Walter Mosley or Zadie Smith. And my cousin-in-law William Heffernan (the most famous author I personally know), his stuff is great. And anything else that's good.

Heroes:

Um... Jubei from Ninja Scroll. He's my hero. And Edgar Alan Poe.
