The Company was officially registered as an Enterprise in April 2006.The Company started by producing Jingles and multimedia adverts for Multi National Advertising Companies in Nigeria. They use to work from their home studio before moving to their present office in Lagos, Nigeria.They have also worked with some underground artistes by helping them develop their skills and preparing them for the big stage.Presently, Back2Black Entertainment has six signed artistes in their Label and they are well known on the streets of Lagos.They have artistes like Benny Paladin, Badda Boyz, Oluwe, Sho’gon Dolla Sound (in house Producer for Back2Black). Don Amando is also an Artiste in the Label. More info later……….BENNY PALADIN is a versatile dancehall raga dub artiste who is well known on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria. He is signed on back2black entertainment. He is presently working on his album titled “Blood Pressure” He released his single with the Label in 2007. He has songs like" Tear am go down", Big ‘N' Beautiful, "Shake"Korikolori" and Black Blau. They are well known on the streets of Lagos Island in Lagos. They have a yet to be released album Titled “THE BEGINNING”. Vector is the lead rapper of the group and he is very versatile when it comes to Freestyle battles, having won the channel O freestyle battle not very long ago. Vector and blaze is working on an album project but they are also working on their separate albums too. They have songs like “MINUTE B4”, PROBLEMS, and SLINGERS AND ATTENTION. More info later…………………Oluwe(Olu Apala) is a talented hip hop artist with a unique style of Apala hip hop music.He is well known on the streets of Lagos and other parts of the Country.He released his album titled ''HAPPY DAY'' on the Back2black Label in 2008 and he has enjoyed maximum air play from Djs accross the Country.His hit track titled "Oluwe Mawe" is the best Apala Hip Hop music to ever come out of Naija.There are other hit tracks like PELEBE, OROYON,HAPPY DAY,AKOLOLO,MY HOME,MR APALA,SARE' and lots more on his new album.Every Dj in Lagos and environs has a copy of Oluwe's album.He just released a video titled Oluwe by Oluwe.Watch out for this young talented Nigerian as he takes the nation and the World by storm.SHO’GON is the in-house producer for the company. He studied classical piano while in school. He is one of the youngest talented producers in town. He is very creative and fast when it comes to sound production. He has worked with notable Artistes in Nigeria. He is the only producer for Back2black Artistes. He produces an album making it sound like it was produced by several producers.
