[noun]:
A beat poet working the streets
'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.comI love The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Doctor Who. I always long to be outdoors. I've been a vegetarian for over fifteen years, and I love animals, art, space, quantum physics, and cooking. I'm writing a children's novel, an adult fiction novel, and some short stories right now. I'm nontheistic with a Taoist philosophy on most things, and I want to believe in Bigfoot as some kind of spirit guide (want to). I also attend the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, when I feel like socializing with like- and open-minded people, as mainly a secular humanist. I'm a dreamer, an idealist, a pacifist, and I love to take care of people.
I have had very severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder for my entire life. Along with that, I also have several spectrum disorders, such as severe depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, mild Tuorette's Syndrome, Body Dismorphic Disorder, as well as trichotillomania. It took me until a few years ago to find help.
I worked in an intensive, "last-resort" OCD treatment program for seven weeks with The Westwood Institute for Anxiety Disorders in Los Angeles. As a result of the severity of my OCD and of the treatment I pursued, I was filmed by MTV and appeared on an episode of The True Life.
When I grow up, I want to live in a rainbow-colored, waterproof tree-house with my beautiful and caring husband, John, surrounded by jungles, a wrecked pirate ship playhouse, a labyrinth, secret passages, hundreds or thousands of books, and as many animals that will fit on my property. And be a traveling companion of The Doctor, if that's not too much to ask.John and I got married in Shady Cove at a beautiful river house outdoors and we had a unique and very fulfilling ceremony complete with a sage smudging, walking down the isle to the Rolling Stones, and coming back down the isle to Indiana Jones with John wearing my fedora, a Scottish hand-tying ceremony (since I'm mostly Scottish), and some Cherokee Poetry (since I'm the rest Cherokee), and sharing a goblet of water then giving the rest to the trees. Yes, I'm a hippy. I can't really help myself. I feel very grounded with nature and feel it is a necessary bond. If there is a God, I believe it is the force or connection that is present between humans, animals, nature, the Earth, and that which binds the galaxy together. Physics and relationships. Pretty scientific.
