How the Sallys came to be........After frequenting Divebar for a couple of months Teresa and Shawnna met a fiesty bartender named Treika. Now, Treika can be bad at remembering names so, she called them Sally. Every weekend Teresa and Shawnna would go to Divebar and each time they showed up Treika called out "Sally!". Two months later Teresa, Shawnna, and Treika met Margret. From there bonds began. Women who were out to find great friends, hangout, drink, laugh, and have fun. Little did they know what was in store for them. Soon after Alexis was brought to the bar by her then boyfriend and the first male Sally, Brian. Now, Shay and Teresa have known each other for years. They lost touch for a little while but came back together at Dive. The most recent addition to the Sallys is Mel. She is a great person with a lot to offer a friendship.After weekends and weekends of hanging out together at Divebar they all started hanging out together more and more outside of the bar. Bar-b-ques, family parties, and the most memeorable times.....Sally Sundays!!!The principals behind the Sallys have always been to have friends who you can count on. Friends who have your back. Friends to have a great time with, share your lives with, and support each other. Friends who will be there for you even when you do or say something stupid. Friends you can trust with your life, who will never judge you or your past. Friends who understand you, who enjoy your company, and who respect you and your feelings. Friends who can tell each other they have said or done something hurtful or wrong, squash it, forgive each other and still be friends. Friends who learn from their mistakes with each other and make it a point to not do it again.Sallys are a family not just friends. Where there are Sallys there is lots of drinking, quite a bit of debauchery, and on occasion fighting.There have been Sallys (men and women) that have come and gone. The Sallys may have and will change but the principals of the Sallys will remain the same.You may say these principals are a lot to ask of someone. But, if you have laughter to share, love in your heart to give, and integrity in your soul it can be done.
