A few years ago I found myself locked into music. Unknowingly and inevitably. Ever since I was a kid I had this strange pattern of remembering every showtune and comercial jingle, and every 4-bit Nintendo game soundtrack sounded to me like an epic orchestrated concerto, but somehow my intenttion of creating music never clicked. In my teens I met this school friend that had a guitar and taught me the basic chords and showed how easy it was to sound like the cool songs you'd hear back then. Right then and there the miracle of music unfolded. My skills never matched my eagerness, and my temper never withstood the discipline of learning notes and pentagrams, but ever since I've been trying to create music. I took some audio recording courses later on, hoping to be around music as much as I could, and help out artists that had my same "musical-theory handicap" to make stuff as visceral as possible. The genre and influences may be clearly there in each song, but I try not to think about it when I'm onto one. I just let it take its course. It's weird it sounds now like electronika more than anything, since my big influence was always rock, and very few electronic bands. I think it's got to do with the fact that it's music a lot easier to make by non-musicians/copy-pasters/sound engineers like me (god bless technology).Well that's it, hope you enjoy it.Salud.
