After spending a little time in Columbus,Ga., bj moved to Fayetteville, NC. around 1993, when he realized he had the gift to rap and a unbearable love for music. Bj quotes Snoop Dogg Debut album Doggystyle as one of his favorite albums of all time, also the album that aspired him to rap. Mr. Bj represents the dirty south with all his bones but says, " Cant talk about hip hop without mentioning the west coast, NWA, E-40, Yuk mouth, Tupac, and Ice Cube, as well as Too Short, was all influences on me as well as our southern G's, Big Boy, Andre 3000, 8Ball, MJG, R.I.P. Pimp C, Bun B, No Limit and Cash Money, cant forget about Three6Mafia, were all legends and big influences on me", he said. "Mr. Bj grew up fast and was forced to be a man in the 7th grade" he said. He realized being raised by his mother Brenda Isaac and his auntie Linda Isaac, made him the only man in the house. Bj mother birthed him at the tender age of 17 years old, the summer before her senior year of high school. His father was in and out of jail in Albany, Ga while he resided in Fayetteville, NC. "I was loved by my momma and auntie but raised by the streets", says Bj. While his mother worked overtime trying to foot the bills, Mr. Bj ran the streets. Do to working all the time and to get over his grandma's death, Bj says, " his mom clubbed often after work giving him more time to run the streets. After shattered hoop dreams and football let downs, Bj was forced in the streets harder, getting him involved in gang banging and selling drugs, before he even finished high school but no matter what happen", Bj says. Bj was always rapping and writing songs. Bj and his homeboy Geremy "LB" Trotter began recording songs in his room at the age of fourteen. Even though none of the songs made it to the radio, due to lack of real studio time. Mr. Bj represents his neighborhood Foxfire and Old Pond, Like a one man band giving him a fierce reputation in the streets if you was talking about rap on the west side of fayetteville. "Older heads just couldn't believe that a young nigga could spit like that", he said. " I was just blessed to do music, I loved it. I love R&B music to, cant sing worth a dame", he said. In the fall of 2003 Bj moved back to his roots in Ga., to attend a Message Therapy school in Marietta, not far from Atlanta. "An associate degree would have been great say a nigga like me", he said. Mr. Bj moved not for school but to Become closer to Atlanta hoping to trip and fall into a record deal but with three months left to graduate, Bj found himself kicked out of college for the second time and stuck in jail with four felony charges and two misdemeanors. After Cobb County Cobra Narcotics Team kicked his door down in a drug raid, Bj made bond shortly but awaited a court date which rendered him five years probation and ordered him to move back home with his mother whose job relocated her from Fayetteville, NC. to Columbia, Sc. were he resides right now. "I ain't going back to jail and rap is going to be the reason why", says Mr. Bj. So with the confident and cocky flow like T.I., that gangsta and straight to the point like young buck, cool as Snoop dogg and Big Boy mixed together is the sound you can expect from Mr. Bj. Mr. Bj also says, "Just because your from the streets and the fucking hood, don't mean you cant talk about the whole world, that's why I credit tupac cause he say,"Keep your head up dear momma unconditional love and troublesome 96, ya dig, and that's what I'm going to do". 08' is my year mane, if you want to get in contact with me contact my manager Jay (Mr.74) 678-247-5928, this interview over.
