MANY THINGS:
MUSIC: I couldn't live without music.....Depeche Mode and Disturbed are my all time favourite bands. Yes, there is absolutely no similarity in their music.....
MY KIDS: My son lives overseas and I miss him... I enjoy spending time with my daughters... even though it usually involves spending money!
CARAVANNING: I bought a caravan last year and the girls and I love to get away from it all.
FRIENDS: Don't really have friends... that's what MySpace is all about for me.
MY iBOOK: yay for the Internet, I'd have no life without it!!!
TATTOOS: I have 15 so far. I haven't had one done for a few years and I'm so ready for another. My avatar is my upper left arm.
IMing: I like to IM. I have so many different IM accounts now... except Myspace IM - they still haven't gotten around to making a MAC version! Anyone who feels like chatting send me a message and I'll add you. Despite the huge time differences between New Zealand and practically everywhere else on earth I can usually manage to get online at the same time as at least one other person!!!
Disturbed - done that, can't wait to do it again and again and again.....; Depeche Mode; my friend Brian - haven't seen him since 1978!!
I am really looking forward to meeting my daughter in law Ashley - assuming they ever make it out here to New Zealand. If they don't get here soon I'll have moved back to the UK!
Here is Hypnos, one of our cats, who apparently enjoys Pringles...
..
I've been a huge Depeche Mode fan since they started back in the 80s - I have almost everything they've ever recorded - even have Suffer Well in Simlish - and I'm still collecting!
.. ..
I spend a lot of time here on the DMUK group page = =
I've been a Disturbedaholic since I got The Sickness. Here are a couple of shots I took at their Christchurch concert in April this year
.. ..
Apart from those favourites I'm into all sorts of rock - Godsmack, Seether, Faktion, Breaking Benjamin etc. etc. I also enjoy Placebo and Zeromancer and have started listening to Gary Numan again - he was a firm favourite of mine back in the day!
I have enjoyed discovering new bands here on MySpace - there are some really good ones out there... Here are a few.....
No favourite movies come to mind right now. I enjoy watching sci-fi, action, drama, comedy, suspense, some horror... Not into the gross really graphic horror movie genre though...makes my skin crawl. I cry at not only the sad stuff but also the happy bits... I am a sap...
Mar Adentro has to be one the most poignant films I have seen in a long time - I get angry at the injustice of Ramon's position and I cry each time I watch it... see, pathetic....
Don't watch too many tv programmes. I'd rather watch a movie. I do however enjoy CSI (original and Miami); House - I love him; Cold Case. My current favourite show is The L Word - we're half way season 2 down here, but I've already downloaded series 3 and part of series 4 as I just don't have the patience to wait and see what happens next. I gave Prison Break a try 'cos my daughter in law loved it - I kept falling asleep half way through so I gave up. Maybe I'll get it on DVD some time instead. I miss Angel and Buffy!! Lorne and Spike were my absolute favourites...
Don't watch reality shows like Survivor or The Apprentice, I just don't find them entertaining
I'll admit to being a Trekkie - I used to watch all the Star Trek shows (apart from the original - never could stand Captain Kirk). Yes, I really do have Star Trek insignia tattooed on my back
Dean Koontz and Wilbur Smith are my favourite authors. I like to read mysteries; sci-fi/fantasy; suspense novels. Not so much into the lovey dovey romances. I've been reading through my Dad's collection of Dick Francis books - I read them all so many years ago, it's like having a whole heap of new books! Some of them are so old the pages are yellow!
The X-Men!!!
My kids are my heroes!!! Jon, Ashlyn, Yolanda
HERE'S A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR MY FELLOW DEVOTEES:

AND HERE'S ONE FOR MY FELLOW TDOs

So who remembers Ultravox?? I loved them - I remember going to see them in concert with my brother back in the mid 80s!

I'm not a politically motivated person and never want to force my views or opinions on others. However, this is something I feel quite strongly about.....
